Few little birdies came and whispered in my ear, what mothers like now days. I took their advice and can’t wait to see my mother’s reaction now. Yes everyone, I am here to tell you all the trendy things that are happening in town!
Did you know Miss Anna Jarvis, the founder of Mother’s Day, for the first time she sent 500 white carnations to the Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church, in Grafton, West, Virginia? She wanted the flowers to be distributed amongst all the mothers. Since then it has become a tradition to gift flowers on Mother’s Day.
Now that we’ve been down memory lane, lets mix and match tradition and your mother’s favorite flowers because that’s what is new in town. Few of the flowers which are making it big this Mother’s Day are, Contessa, which is a combination of Lilies, Carnations and Gerberas. The other flowers which are painting the town red are the long stemmed Berry Roses which is a combination of lilac, pink and ecrue roses.
The other style going around now days is that all mothers are becoming more and more health conscious. So what better way to show your love than by giving her a Fruit and Flower basket?
However one more winner in town which is touching every mother’s hearts is the Gerberas. They give beauty a new definition.
