What is ShareASale?
ShareASale is an online affiliate network that not only provides a platform for merchants and affiliates to interact but also to track the transactions and mediate the payments. Giftsnideas has a tie-up with ShareASale.
How does ShareASale track the sales and the leads on the Web?
They use cookies to track leads and sales through affiliate's websites. The cookies are only used to identify affiliate generated sales, and they do not collect any other information for any other purpose with these cookies. Upon an event, such as a lead or a sale, they are able to determine the total amount of commission paid to the affiliate, and the affiliate that was responsible for that sale.
How and when will I be paid for my generated sales and leads?
Giftsnideas maintains a healthy balance amount with ShareASale. As soon as Giftsnideas gets an order through you, ShareASale deducts your commission from the deposit maintained by Giftsnideas and directs it to your account.
ShareASale issues payments via check and Direct Deposit on the 20th of each month. These payments are made to those affiliates who have reached the $50 minimum BEFORE the end of the previous month. For example, if an affiliate earns $50 by the end of February, they are paid those commissions on March 20th. If the affiliate did not reach the $50 minimum until March 1st, those commissions would be paid on April 20th. Giftsnideas is allowed this time to review sales and leads in the case of returns, invalid credit cards, or even fraud.
How do I see reports on my earnings?
You can access your account with ShareASale at anytime, 24 hours a day - 7 days a week, using the username and password that you selected when signing up for your account. The reporting is all web based, and user-friendly for your convenience.
What kinds of stats are available for the affiliates?
Each transaction is logged on ShareASale servers, and available for review in detail. They also keep aggregate stats on the number of hits, leads, sales, and paid clicks.
What is the payment gateway?
The payment will be done through wire transaction or pay pal transaction on the 10th of every month. This will cover all the sales generated during the previous month.
Who can join this Affiliate Program? Are there any criteria for the approval?
Anyone who has a website can join the Affiliate Program.
The criteria on which a website might be rejected are:
If the website is found to-
- Promote violence.
- Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
- Promote illegal activities
- Violate the intellectual property rights of our websites
It must also be noted that it is the sole discretion of the company to decide which websites are suitable and which are not.
What should I do to become a part of the Affiliate Program?
